Made by Vignobles Ponty, a family estate in Canon-Fronsac since 1905, this Bordeaux Clairet is 100% Merlot with a deep raspberry-red hue. Clairet is Bordeaux's original style: skins macerate for 24-48 hours, longer than a rose but far shorter than a red, giving a dry wine with real fruit and structure, best served chilled.
